Hockey at the parks

Well I know alot of us live in south Arlington/Mansfield. Any one down for some stick n puck...5AM on monday's.... and their I league is on mondays and cheap from what i hear... prolly gonna join to get more ice time.. any one else in? Danny??? Carl??? Mitch... Arnie... Bueller? Ferris Bueller....

Week 2 Results

A great effort was made as we played a heck of a lot better than the previous week. We managed to get off 24 shots and 3 of them managed to slip passed the Snipers goalie who was definetly on his game that night. It was fairly clean game [well except for one Sniper who got the boot for who knows what] only getting 4 P.I.M.'s all game. Maybe becuase it was late and Olson wanted to go home. Other news: Slackers Vs. Leftovers: great game if you didnt see it [or play in it]. Slackers down 2-1 late in the 3rd don't get their goalie off the ice until 10 seconds left and still manage to tie the game with about 2 seconds left [remind any of a recent Stars game?] and then went into a shoot out. A very very long shoot out. As a matter a fact I think its still going. Just kidding Slackers actually win in shoot out and the game 3-2, but the play of the game definetly goes to our own Mindo who actually dove head first to save a puck that was definetly headed in and then on that same shift pulled off a goal. Coast to coast baby!

Puckers Vs. Spiders: This one had alot of chicks hitting the ice literally. Spiders had a super short bench missing Mason, Grecco and a couple of others. Fugz Dallas Lehr and sub-Tarvis [yes I said Tarvis] found the back of the Spiders net multiple times. Puckers go on to win this one and get revenge from an embarassing keg game last December. 5-2

OUCH!!!

Well it surely did not start off well at all. Bobby hung in there face 28 shots [probably more than that!] and even got the "he-man" award for the night from the Euless I league site. Hopefully coach can think of some line mixtures that will result in some offensive productivity. Almost anything has to be better than the 8 shots we got last game. Any ideas~? Next weeks opponent is the Snipers so every one watch your ears...
